Applications for St. Antony’s Catholic Primary School
In light of ongoing restrictions due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) measures, Supplementary Information Forms must be completed and returned to the school office no later than 12th February 2021. Please email the Admissions Team at St Antony's on email@example.com to request an appointment to submit supporting documentation. All school visits will need to be in line with the school's own risk assessments and government guidance (link below). The Main Office will call to arrange an appointment to submit supporting documents - please do not send this via email.

We will continue to support you in the application process to ensure that you are successful in your application. Before submitting a primary school application, we strongly recommend all families read the autumn 2020 edition of the local authorities ‘Starting Primary School’ guide.
We are an academy school which means we are our own admission authority but to ensure continuity across the borough we follow the London Borough of Newham’s admissions processes. All applications for this school must be made through London Borough of Newham’s Pupil Services, not this school.
All reception applications must be made through the family’s home local authority. For children living in Newham, families must apply via London Borough of Newham. For children living outside Newham, whose family wants them to attend this school their application must be made through their home borough naming this school as a preference on their application.
Remember, parents/carers must apply for a reception place in this school, even if the child:
- Attends our nursery
- Has a brother or sister attending this school
Supplementary Information Form (SIF)
As part of our admission arrangements we require a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) if an applicant wants their child to be consider under our faith based criteria (priority groups). If an applicant does not complete and submit a SIF or does not want to be considered under our faith based criteria (priority groups) the child will be automatically added to the lowest priority group when we rank the applications.
A SIF is not an application form so cannot be considered unless an application is made through eAdmissions.

Mid-Phase Admission Application
Starting Pre-school & Nursery
To apply for a Nursery place at St. Antony’s Catholic Primary School for 2021/22 You will need to:
- complete a Pre-school SIF or complete a Nursery SIF
- and provide a reference from your Parish Priest (or equivalent for other practicing Christians or other faiths)
The closing date for applications for a Nursery place in 2021/22 is 31st March 2021.

Over Subscription Procedure
Candidates who are unsuccessful in securing a place will be offered the opportunity of being placed on a waiting list. The waiting list will be maintained in order of the over subscription criteria, outlined in the Newham Catholic Deanery Admissions Policy and not in the order in which applications are received or added to the list. Names will be removed on the last school day at the end of every academic year and parents/carers will need to reapply for a place at the school if they wish their child to be considered for a place at the school in the new academic year starting in September.
