Applications for St. Antony’s Catholic Primary School

We would welcome you applying for a place at our school. To do this you must follow the correct process for your child’s age as detailed below.

Normal Admissions

If your child was born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016, you will need to apply for a reception class place in an infant or primary school for September 2020. If your child lives in Newham you will need to apply via London Borough of Newham. But if your child lives outside Newham, but you want him or her to go to school in Newham, you will need to apply through the local authority in the borough you live in.

Remember, you must always apply for a place, even if your child:

  • Already attends the nursery of your preferred school or
  • They have a brother or sister who attends the schools

As we are a Catholic School if you would like your child to be considered under our faith based criterion you must complete and return our Supplementary Information Form to the school.

Over Subscription Procedure

Candidates who are unsuccessful in securing a place will be offered the opportunity of being placed on a waiting list. The waiting list will be maintained in order of the over subscription criteria, outlined in the Newham Catholic Deanery Admissions Policy and not in the order in which applications are received or added to the list. Names will be removed on the last school day at the end of every academic year and parents/carers will need to reapply for a place at the school if they wish their child to be considered for a place at the school in the new academic year starting in September.

Paper versions of the SIF are available for collection from the school’s Main Office.
