News & Events @StAntsE7

Dear Angela,

I felt compelled to write to you to congratulate you and your wonderful staff on the magnificent quality of the praise and worship in the Mass this morning.

Yet again the children of St Antony's were absolutely fantastic in their joyful and inspirational leading of the Christmas Mass with their singing, reading, serving and dancing.

This morning, I watched the Mass online as I was unable to attend in person due to illness. As usual the children read with such clear articulation, conviction and confidence.

The dramatic performance of the Gospel Reading really drove the message of the Gospel home for those of us watching from home and for all the children, staff, parents and wider

community in attendance as well I am sure.

Most moving I felt however, was the liturgical dance during the reflection which was superb, beautifully choreographed and totally captivating- I was not very familiar with the song

"Mary Did You Know?" prior, but I searched for it immediately after the Mass as I was so moved by the message of the song conveyed in dance that I was literally

driven to find the song and listen to it for myself. What a powerful message in song and dance!

I also enjoyed the 'Angels' glorious dance during the entrance hymn of 'O Come All Ye Faithful' and the last carol 'Joy To the world'

It really was great to be so lifted by the children's whole hearted devotion as they used all their talents to give praise and thanks to God. What a blessing they are to the Parish

and community.

God Bless you all

Kaz
