Home School Agreement

To help my child do well at school, I will do my best to:

  • Make sure that my child attends school everyday, and is on time
  • Support the Catholic Education of my child by regularly attending Mass, and sharing in the life of the Parish
  • Encourage my child to work hard, and listen to my child read at home
  • Support my child with homework, and other opportunities for learning at home
  • Ensure my child wears the correct uniform, and that it is the correct size, and  is clean and neat
  • Collect my child on time after school daily or after clubs
  • Contact the school as soon as possible, by phone, email or in writing, if my child will be absent for any  good reason
  • Work with the school to try and make sure that my child behaves well, supporting the school’s policy and guidelines for  appropriate behaviour.
  • Attend information evenings, and school meetings arranged for parents, and reply to any communications from school, by phone, email or letter
  • Support school trips financially, when reasonably requested, where appropriate / able as well as by attending to assist on trips
  • Become actively involved in the PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends of St Antony’s) and support all events and fund raisers.

The school will:

  • Encourage your child in the development of the Catholic Faith
  • Provide a safe environment for your child to be encouraged to work to his/her full potential
  • Promote tolerance and respect
  • Contact you as soon as possible if we are concerned about your child’s work, behaviour, or health; if there are problems with attendance or punctuality
  • Get back to you as soon as possible if you write to us, or phone us
  • Welcome parents/carers into the life of the school, and keep you informed about general school matters, through fortnightly newsletters and letters home
  • Let you know regularly how your child is progressing
  • Set your child regular homework tasks, including reading and spelling, and mark and monitor it
  • Offer a broad and balanced curriculum which meets the needs of your child, including additional before and after school activities
  • To work in partnership with the parents and the parish to promote the best well-being for all our children

Uniform

We are pleased to confirm that St Antony’s Catholic Primary School’s uniform is now available for purchase through F&F (Tesco Online). 

To ensure your child is in correct uniform you may visit our suppliers Ian Howard on Barking Road, as well as Tesco direct .

  • White cotton shirt
  • School tie
  • Green jumper with School Logo (the Jumper may be removed in the warmer months)
  • Black Trousers
  • Black Socks
  • Black shoes- no trainers
